Brand guidelines for businesses
I created a brand guideline for our family-owned business.
I adhered to my client’s existing brand guidelines and implemented them across all platforms.
I was tasked by my client to create or have someone design an email signature for him. Based on my client’s preferences, the logo and the email signature should be: clean and minimalistic, rustic, sophisticated.
I used Pinterest to look for inspirations for fonts and colour palette.
I worked with an external graphic designer to come up with an email signature with the client’s preferences in mind.

A sample mood board of my client. Inspirations come from varied sources like nature, nontoxic products and organic ingredients, sustainable materials, eco-conscious living, etc.
This mood board served as a visual representation of the business and a guide to create a cohesive and consistent visual identity.
Mood board and Cohesive Instagram feed for the AH Salon
Part of my strategy is to plan out the salon’s Instagram feed to ensure we’re not showing only Hair content to avoid visual fatigue. I alternated the Instagram feed by introducing Non-Hair content in between, this gave us a chance to highlight other content ideas such as products, services, announcements, staff members, and calendar events.
