Shopify Store Front Mailmunch Integration
Project Description/ Goals
Issue: This brand caters to hairdressers and salons all over the world, however, because of shipping limitations it would be difficult to deliver the product from NZ. With international partnerships, the brand is able to supply to major countries and continents like the UK, USA, Canada, APAC, EMEA etc.
Solution: I identified a need to better serve international website visitors for this brand. Instead of relying on a developer, I proposed and implemented a solution using a third-party tool, Mailmunch, to create a geo-targeted pop-up. This pop-up directed users to their respective country-specific distributor websites, making it easier for them to purchase through local stockists. It was a cost-effective solution that improved user experience and helped connect customers with the right distribution channels, all without the need for complex web development.
Following the integration, we saw increased traffic to our distributor websites (as we wanted to promote them) and positive feedback from international customers who found it easier to connect with a local stockist.
Website Interface Changes
Communicated with the business owner to collate all of the changes they wanted to make to the website. I logged in onto Shopify and implemented these changes by modifying blurbs, removing/adding content and design elements. The business owner wanted to stick to the minimalistic design of the interface.
